The rural region of Finkolo in southern Mali is particularly affected by climate change. The people live from agriculture, which suffers immensely from the increasingly extreme drought. This makes it all the more important that the valuable agricultural products can be stored safely over a long period of time. In this way, periods of drought and possible crop failures can be survived.
With funds from the Naturefriends Climate Fund, Naturefriends Mali have built a storage hall in which a hygienic storage of agricultural products is possible. This way, the project contributes significantly to the food security of the population.
