Purpose and Activities of the Organisation according to article 4 of the constitution:

According to its statutes, the organisation shall exclusively and directly pursue charitable objectives in order to achieve the above-stated aims of the organisation; to that purpose, it engages in the following non-profit activities:

  1. Organisation of international meetings for the purpose of exchanging information and preparing projects and campaigns designed to strengthen awareness of sustainability. 
  2. Implementation of projects, campaigns, seminars, and events designed to advance the objectives pursued by Naturefriends International and its members. 
  3. Contribution to the conservation of environment, nature, and landscapes and to sustainable development and development cooperation. 
  4. Contribution to the promotion of sustainable tourism accessible for all people and to sustainable regional development. 
  5. Support of social and cultural activities of members. 
  6. Representation of the interests of members in the areas of social, development and environment policies at the European and the international level. 
  7. Issuing of publications (in print and online), design of a website. 
  8. Acquisition of financing and funding schemes for activities to implement the aims of Naturefriends International and its members. 
  9. In order to effectuate the above-mentioned objectives, Naturefriends International can set up holding companies. 
  10. Promotion of Naturefriends youth organisations.

Server data 

For technical reasons, and in particular to be able to guarantee a secure and stable web presence, data is transferred from your Internet browser to us or to our Web space provider. These so-called server log files collect, amongst others, the type and version of your Internet browser, the operating system, the website that led you to our web presence (Referrer URL), the website(s) of our web presence that you visit, date and time of access and the IP address of the Internet connection from which our web presence is used.

Web analysis with MAtomo

The protection of your data is important to us, which is why we have additionally configured Matomo in such a way that your IP address is only recorded in shortened form. We therefore process your personal usage data anonymously. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about your person. Use of Google Maps 

We use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google.” 

Google sets a cookie in order to process the user configuration and data when the page with the integrated “Google Maps” component is displayed. As a general rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser, but rather expires after a certain time, as long as it is not previously manually deleted by you. 

If you do not agree with this processing of your data, you may choose to deactivate the “Google Maps” service and thereby prevent the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use “Google Maps” or at least only to a limited extent.

Use of YouTube components with enhanced data protection mode

On our website we use components (videos) of YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company belonging to Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. 

When you display a page that has an embedded video, a connection will be made to the YouTube server and the content will appear on the website via a communication to your browser. 

According to the information provided by YouTube, in “- enhanced data protection mode -”, data is only transferred to the YouTube server, in particular which of our websites you have visited, if you watch the video. If you are logged onto YouTube at the same time, this information will be matched to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this from happening by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

respect_NFI Photo Challenge

The organiser is responsible for the compliance, management of the photo competition and data processing.
The data collected will be required and used exclusively for the purposes of the photo competition. The data is required in order to be able to send any prizes to the winners. The data will not be passed on to third parties.
In the event of a win, contact will be made via the e-mail address or telephone number provided when submitting the photos.
 
The following data will be processed:
In the event of a win: address data for sending the prize. 
The data will be stored for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the photo competition (announcement of the winners and sending of the prizes) and then deleted.
 
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you, as well as the right to correct, delete or restrict the processing of such data or to object to processing. Contact: office@nf-int.org
 
You have the right to have your uploaded photo deleted at any time. Send an email to office@nf-int.org, include your name and email address and your photo will be deleted.
