The Ledro Local Group has launched the project "Environmental Protection from Generation to Generation" (tutela ambientale). The idea is to bring young people in the Ledro Valley closer to nature and the habitats in their surroundings through workshops and seminars. The project is supported by the municipality, other associations and the Province of Trento.

The focus is on young (and also older) people joining together to shape the future of the region. This has led to an initiative to promote the cultivation of traditional, forgotten cereals such as buckwheat, rye, hemp and millet, which used to be widespread in the Ledro Valley. These cereals will then also be processed and marketed locally.
