018 | Cross-border meetings of Naturefriends
The Naturefriends of Colombes, a town in the region of Ile de France, have been cooperating and exchanging experiences with the Naturefriends of Frankenthal in Germany since their foundation in 1992.
Every year, members of the two groups meet to spend some time together. During these three Naturefriends days they arrange many different activities and take the chance to exchange experiences and to discuss current and planned projects.
The contact between the two groups has become closer and closer over time, and joint projects have been initiated - starting with the organisation of joint hikes up to cooperation in international Naturefriends projects such as the Landscape of the Year.
