"No income, but clean air" - Tourism between economic necessity and climate change

Tourism enterprises in the Global South are suffering from the collapse of tourism. The majority of tourism workers in the South have no protection. Speakers from Nepal and Benin will report on the situation in the South.

The second part of the event will focus on climate change and flights. How can the number of flights be reduced and what can the path to climate-friendly mobility look like? The Stay Grounded network has drawn up a proposal to this effect. The significance of this proposal for the countries of the South will be discussed with representatives of Naturefriends Africa.
