Supporting the local groups - that is the task of the new coaching system of German Naturefriends. The coaches are trained by full-time employees in numerous regional associations. The training includes modules on volunteer management, strengthening volunteering and systemic consulting, conflict management and moderation techniques.

The coaches work on a voluntary basis and can be requested by local groups if, for example, they need input in developing ideas, support in association work or advice in conflicts, or if the moderation of work processes or know-how for events is required.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, for example, the campaign "We do it - on the street!" was initiated: For one day several streets in Düsseldorf were closed for car traffic. They became meeting places where people talked, danced, laughed, painted, ate and drank.
